Enoch Chong SL reflection

After the service learning project we did, i felt that some of the aspects that were well done were our cooperation and teamwork. We worked together as a class to accomplish a good performance. If there were to be a next time our school decided to hold another service learning project, i would have a few changes to our performance. This time, we performed only a few performances so if there will be a next tine, we would add more items in the performances to entertain the old folks. Also we can be given more time to prepare for the performances and practice till perfect before performing for the old folks as we do not want to disappoint them. Another thing we could have done was to have more interaction with the old folks, for example play a game of chess with them or just talk to them. After this project, here are some of the feedback we got from various departments. The old folks home told us that they were really glad that we could entertain those old folks and told us that the old folks had a lot of fun singing and clapping along with us. Our teachers also told us that we did fairly well although improvements can be made. This project taught me something, is that the elderly and maybe even other people out there needs our help so we, the fortunate one, should do something to help them and not just let them die. Next time if we were to do this project again, i would suggest doing charity donations as we can help a larger group of people.
