Service Learning Project
The service learning project was indeed a
meaningful and memorable experience for most of us. It provided us with
opportunities to give back to society, such as Flag Day, where we went to
different placescollecting donations for a good cause and performing for the
elderly at All Saints Home. Following the performance, we then handed them some
daily necessities. Although some of the elderly may not be able to express
their gratitude clearly, I am sure it touched their hearts.Nevertheless, there
are always room for improvements. For instance, if we had more practice singing
the song, we would feel more confident on the stage. Still, it was a
commendable effort, considering that everyone played their part to make it a success.
Hopefully, this performance would let the elderly know that people out there
still care for them. The success was a reflection of everybody’s hard work and
effort. Without them, the result may have proved otherwise.
